Research

Performed for industry thought leaders, my research has revealed field-building insights into the dynamics of small business sectors, the mindset of small business owners and workers, and economic mobility and job quality among low-wage workers. My other research areas include housing affordability and policy, community wealth building, and cultural preservation.

My mixed-methods approach balances the design of objective evaluation methods with human-centered investigation. My research aims to encapsulate the big-picture context of any subject while highlighting the hyperlocal dynamics of neighborhoods and key players.

Below is a list of research projects that I led independently or with a partner.
