I program films at Spectacle, an all-volunteer, collectively-run microcinema in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, where we show lost, forgotten, and underseen gems. I try to discover and present films made by and about workers and labor movements as well as films about places and people’s everyday experiences with cities, neighborhoods, public space, and small businesses.

I am interested in working with more cinemas and cultural spaces on strategic projects that apply my background in community development toward the evolving challenges of theatrical exhibition. It's my goal to support the preservation and evolution of cultural spaces by establishing them as community anchor institutions.

I would love to join any conversation about the state of our field - including independent film exhibition, distribution, production, and preservation. I’m especially interested in conversations that consider these sub-sectors together and that include film institutions and organizations, film and cinema workers, and filmmakers and artists.
